NVQ Funding. FREE NVQS.
A government subsidy is available for doing an NVQ providing you do not already have a Level 2 qualification.
Level 2 qualifications include having 5 or more GCSE's at Grade C or above, an NVQ in another subject area or a City and Guilds Diploma.

Claim back the levy paid to ConstructionSkills.
We can help you claim back a proportion of your levy through writing a training and development plan for your company.
We will need to carry out a Training Needs Analysis. This will identify training for all staff, not just construction staff. When approved by ConstructionSkills and you have completed a Levy Return you can claim the Training Plan Grant - a minimum of £500 plus £25 for every 6 hours of training you do.
The training claimed can be formal e.g. attending an Abrasive Wheels course or it can be informal e.g. "In House" training on new procedures within your company such as using a new photocopier or fax machine.
Any training carried out (and this training can be as short as 30 mins) needs to be evidenced - again we can help you do this.

Information on levy payments.
A levy is collected by ConstructionSkills every year from construction companies who have a wage bill of over £73,000. This levy money is used to provide grants for training . However, you do not have to employ or sub contract large numbers of staff to access these grants, even small construction companies can apply for training support so long as they complete a Levy Return each year.
